TROUBLE - PSALM 9 (1984)

Since Manic Frustration was such a big hit on G.O.M.E., I thought I'd give the 14 people that anonymously downloaded it a chance to comment on TROUBLE's debut!

Compared to the aforementioned Manic Frustration, Psalm 9 is substantially "doomier", and it lacks Rick Rubin's glossy production. That said, TROUBLE's debut is much slower, much darker, and much more raw than Manic Frustration. Newcomers and fans only familiar with TROUBLE's Rubin material might be put-off at first by the overall tone and sound of this LP, but should find it an interesting, and ultimately rewarding, listening experience. Highlights include the almost-SLAYER-esque "Endtime" and an awesome cover of CREAM's "Tales of Brave Ulysses".

1. The Tempter
2. Assassin
3. Victim of the Insane
4. Revelation (Life or Death)
5. Bastards Will Pay
6. The Fall of Lucifer
7. Endtime
8. Psalm 9
9. Tales of Brave Ulysses
