the GOME wish you merry Xmass and happy new year! (and keep smoking)
STOP BEING MAD AT US AND JUST LOVE US AGAIN
New line up, new identity...
I really like this one.. stoner? proto jazz? Avant Garde? fuck the labels.. nice instrumental wildness from Norway
Kentucky finest... if you liked Naam album recently posted, then you need to check this out..
You may wonder what Nick has been doing all this time... well, among other things, making this acoustic home record...some well known songs, (I love Misfits's cover) ..enjoy Nick as his best..
Some instrumental from Denver... and there is not much to say.. if you like Karma to burn, this is your shit..
The down side of this album is that it is too short.. only 20 minutes.. I have to post more of them..
You judge it... I think, one more time, it's all about Mr. Homme....
Yawning Sons came about via a collaboration between two instrumental bands from different sides of the Atlantic. Last year, Gary Arce from legendary US desert/psych veterans YAWNING MAN (and Fatso Jetson/Ten East/Dark Tooth Encounter) was invited over to the UK to produce a new album by the instrumental progressive electro stoner riff-rock outfit, SONS OF ALPHA CENTAURI. Upon arrival, they started jamming it out in the studio and by day's end they realised they'd tapped into something special. The idea of Arce simply "producing" was scrapped. With both acts heading the musical direction, over the course of a week they wrote and recorded an entire album's worth of material together and came to the conclusion that a whole new entity had been born. It is called YAWNING SONS.
Formed in 2003. in Zagreb, Croatia as an international commune of psychedelic likeminds exploring the multifaceted cosmos of freak out music and naked women in high hopes of achieving Buddha’s blessing!
I think this is their best.. a little bit of everything..
Thanks to NAKIEL!! we got this..
here it is, grab it while you can, and then buy it, it's quite good.
I got this from some time ago, is a 7" from a Dutch band, 2 tracks only, and right in the veign of Orange Sunshine...I wish I could get more of them, but it seems this is everything that you may get... I tried to place an order on Motorwolf Records aswell, but the label is dead I guess....

Let me put this simple, this is the Italian Queens of The Stone Age, I mean, (the last QOTSA, Lullabies& Era Vulgaris) this sounds the a lot like that, well, I think, even better than Era Vulgaris...I'm Fucking blown away by this one..

Walking between the fine line of stoner-kraut-psych-jazz, this guys from Denmark totally deliver... I recomend their entire discography, most of it, released by "Elektrohash Records" (Colour Haze) so, you know it's good, as their entire catalogue.
Another great Italian Band... in the last 5 years there were some fucking sweet releases form this part of the world, and this is not the exception, I guess it must be something in the water...enjoy

Well, it will take more than a listen to get it in your head... but with time you will realize that this is as good as the previous one, only different..
