ELEVATED RADIO #010
Check this week's show for a double-shot of Mark Lanegan, including a GUTTER TWINS exclusive! Of course, tons of other fantastic rock gets played as well. You guys might very well disagree, but I think this is one of my better shows. I realize I'm setting myself up for criticism simply by saying that, but I dig this show. I liked making it, and I'm currently enjoying listening to it. Make yourself heard - what do YOU think?
Also, stay tuned for another special edition later this week. Something doesn't smell right. I can't put my finger on it, but it's almost...[sniff sniff] kinda fishy.

Loved the Anthrax tune. It sounded vaguely familiar.
The Dulli/ Lanegan Gutter Twin songs is so much more satisfying than the Twilight Singer's collab EP.
Glad I sat down for the last hour.
Later...
Thanks for calling Morbid out on Sasquatch.. He has been listening to too many Wu Tang Side projects.
Rinjo-- Thanks for the comments. Haha, yeah, I always give Jimmy shit for slagging Sasquatch. As for the Gutter Twins, yeah, I'm really optimistic. I think the whole record will be full of hard-but-soulful rockin'.
Big Jack, awesome show. I have been one busy feline, so sorry for the late comment! Just got done listening to this, and this show seals the deal. Great songs all the way through. I think I could be happy with a all Melvins show, but thanx for playing THAT song! The Alabama Thunderpussy song you played is one of my favorite jams to kick out at the house. I have burned all these shows for my friends, and they fucking love them. Props + Respect 2 U.
Another thoroughly enjoyable podcast, Big Jack... It kicked ass from top to bottom! So many highlights for me: The Melvins ("Not dead... Just sleeping")... The Gutter Twins (I gotta make sure I see these guys if they come to town)... And that Fatso Jetson track was muy delicioso! Looking forward to ER#11!
Man i got to say, the best show so far, by far, realling digging it all the way
And the campaign to razz The Morbid One continues. Look at you Rinjo. You like bitch slapping me around on GOME? So you finally found some time off from preening and trimming the shrubbery around your mangina and this is how you use it. Pathetic. It's not my fault that the singer from Sasquatch has bruised and bloody knees and a mouth full of crotch sweat and pubic hair from his countless hours of lapping at Chris Cornell's testical sac. You both realize that your petty quibbling about my disdain for Sasquatch only further exposes these talentless hacks for what they
are---an overly ambitious Soundgarden cover band. Apart from the Bigfoot song Mr.Jack, the podcast was a wonderful eargasmic treat. I've been digging on Mark Lanegan since his days in Screaming Trees. Bubblegum is my shit yo. The Waits/Cohen/Dylan influence is a badge of honor, worn proudly as it glistens under the beams of the full moon. Lanegan is never complacent with his emulation. He works it to the bone and takes you with him into inky black, cavernous and otherworldly areas where you're left to sink or swim in a blood red surreal sea. His psychedelia is brilliantly subtle and beckoning and when he rocks it hurts. OK so it's obvious that I'm down with the Wu but I don't spend even close to half the amount of time listening to Wu bangers that you use (Rinjo) listening to that missing link band of yours. Wu-Tang forever motherfucker. Watch yourself Rinjo. The streets is watching you.
