5 More Records

As you may have noticed, I haven't been very active lately.. that could be due to lack of time, lack of interesting things to post, and because most of the recent post have been taken down, so keep going with this is getting pointless, so, this is my prop: 5 more records as per your request and we shut this down this for good.
Save your appreciation & thanks giving words, the "sentimental" post will come at the end..ha ha
So, think! what do you want to hear?
Cheers!!

Oh no, hombre!
Obviously posts about big names are risky. But why don't you devote more time to talent scouting? There are so many cool bands around that may be glad to get some more exposure.

What we want to hear?

What you have to show us! Forever! ahhaha

Now, seriously...GOME is my favorite blog, but i understand if you're not in the mood to upload all those great records anymore. But maybe you should try to upload once, twice a month...

anyway, I'll not going to ask for something, i prefer the surprise.

cheers from Brazil, cheers from this Conspiracy!

Vinnie

PS: maybe you should do the ULTIMATE TOP 500 FAVORITE GOME SONGS COMPILATION!

it will be interesting...

Any chance of Bombas de Amor by Sort of Quartet, desperately want to hear that and it's so difficult to find!

Many thanks for the blog, it'll be such a shame to see it go, I really appreciate all the effort you've put in over the years all the rare gems and brilliant selections, hope everything goes well for you in the future.

It's a shame, but thx for the great

Maybe my fav previously unknown thing i've ever got off this great blog was the Funkadelic Live album - dont hesitate to go off "topic" in your final post! Thanks for all the tunes.

Booo! Please don't leave us without your great musical discoveries!
It would be a real shame if you would quit. As suggested above, skip the "major" bands and concentrate on talentscouting. They appreciate the attention, instead of taking down your uploads.

Anyway, thanks for all your efforts!

We want to hear that you have changed your mind and are keeping this super sweet blog going.
Failing that, massive riffed, heavy as fuck, instrumental psychedelia (without sodding synthesisers).
But mostly, we want you to keep going.

I've been following your site for years, this is by far the worst news I've heard for ages. But as for the request- and I can't find this anywhere-

Truckfighters/Firestone - "Fuzz Split Of The Century"

I'll be sorry to see you go

Oh, thats sad, couldn´t you think it over? This is one of the best places for amazing music (thanks to you I´ve even bought some stuff like Colour Haze and Dead Meadow). We all do not expect you to publish new stuff every week, we are here for quality not quantity !

Anonymous said...

Really please think it over, we don´t want to get off your elevator!
And if you are asking about requests I would like to hear new Okta Logue album. Song from official clip sounds great http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMQYmututZI
And I couldnt find it, but for those who are interested there is older album from them when they called themselves "Zaphire Oktalogue" and you can find torrent on "rutracker.org". Its dying off slowly so go and get it, you may be waiting for it but it is worth it.

if you need help with running this blog, im always available, even if you may have been seeing my name for the first time ( used to comment as anonymous) :P

can you upload some Tia Carrera BTW. thanks, and do keep on running your blog. :)

well man, unfortunately for you, I´m going to the UK next year so just pick the pub.. haha..
I was to save it for the final post, but one of the main reasons I need to end this is because I´m travelling next year, but I do need to keep in touch with all of you, I want to rock in the UK, in Belguim, in Berlin, in Milan, so get ready Europe, here I go.. (and will collect all those beers)

Thanks a lot from France. you made me discovering a lot of stuff, just regret to not have been able to give as much.
